You can now compare the quality of care at more that 4,200 hospitals nationwide. A new government website allows people to compare hospitals in their cities, counties or metropolitan area. Officials believe that listing the percentage of hospital patients who receive proven, effective medical treatment will help people make more informed choices about their hospital care.
